I kept reminding myself Mother Aya doesn't give you more than you can handle.
During my first Ayahuasca retreat in Peru this year, I asked Mother Aya to help me remove the blocks preventing me from finding Divine Connection.
Once I found it, I wanted her to guide me on what to do to get the business to abundance, and Mother Aya showed me how to link this love to my purpose.
I wish I could say the rest was easy. But the truth is that the gift of growth is in the difficult experiences. The lessons we don’t want are the best to teach us what we truly need.
We can’t escape discomfort. We are given these experiences to feel from our souls the mission we are meant to bring into the world.
Discomfort is part of the healing and growth journey.
An essential aspect of plant medicine is working with reputable and experienced shamans who care about your safety first.
Part of the process for joining our Aya retreat in Peru is completing an in-depth medical intake form.
One of the questions is, “Have you taken Ayahuasca before? If yes, how many times? And what was your experience?”
My client Athena mentioned that she had a really bad experience where she was stuck in a painful situation she couldn’t get out of. She found herself with homeless people in a dark “place” with no way out and unable to stop what she was feeling for hours on end.
When the retreat center facilitator saw this comment in her intake form, he offered to jump on a call with me and Athena to explain what was going on so she would have a much easier experience on her journey with us.
What opened up was a beautiful exchange I want to share because I believe it can help you decide whether this retreat is right for you.
The facilitator explained that there was a good reason why Mother Aya showed Athena this challenging and emotionally disturbing situation.
Sometimes, when something is really uncomfortable, and we want to get out of it, it actually presents the greatest potential for our growth.
In Athena’s case, the medicine showed her the people she was meant to serve and made her feel their pain and suffering, teaching her to be more empathetic and compassionate towards the homeless.
This deep understanding comes from the soul and allows you to transmute discomfort into wisdom.
Feeling them and being unable to get out of the situation for hours felt disturbing. But her purpose is big - to impact how the health system works as a doctor.
Mother Aya knew that making her feel the actual patients on a deeper and bigger scale would open up in her the motivation to help them.
Mother Aya doesn’t give you what you want but what you need.
Athena’s experience isn’t unique. Many people have had bad Ayahuasca experiences because they go on their own, or maybe they don't have the kind of support we offer our clients.
When you join us in Peru, you’ll have an experienced interpreter who can help you develop understanding and guide you safely through situations so you don’t stay stuck.
Not only do you receive support during the trip, but you’ll receive guidance before and after your journey to help you prepare and integrate the powerful lessons learned.
You’ll have an “interpreter” with you all through.
If you feel called to this work, I am inviting 10 men and women to join me for an exclusive, transformative Aya Somatic Healing retreat at the healing center I go to in Peru.
If you’re feeling the pull towards this journey, let’s explore this powerful path together.
This could be one of the most profound life-changing experiences of your life.
To explore further, please send me a message, and I’ll share all the details with you.💗
With love,
Chen
